Who am I?
My name is Edith Booth and I am the owner of Let/’s Sign. I purchased this business from George Joslin in 2000. George had the business for many years and produced several books. He and his wife decided to retire from this business but they are still active in deaf ministry. He is still writing materials which Let/’s Sign distributes for him.
My husband (Jim) and I have been involved in deaf ministry for thirty years. He was pastor of deaf churches in several places and I was his “assistant” in ministry. I did everything from teach deaf children, write lessons for deaf children/’s classes, teach adults, lead the choir, voice interpret, and cook lots of covered dishes. I also worked as an interpreter in public schools for seven years and have been interpreting at a community college for the past 17 years.
